Basically the title. I was thinking of upgrading a 10 year old bifold and have decided to spend a little extra on a wallet that might last me even longer than that. I’m a fan of many designer brands but an unsure if the quality will be there as you pay for the brand name more than anything. Watches are a good example where it’s probably worth the price (within reason of course) but does anybody have any experience with wallets from brands like Burberry, Louis V and the likes. Any advice would be great.

eh, I’m personally not a fan of designer wallets. As you briefly touched on, you’re paying for the brand. A classic case of purchasing for the brand over everything else so people can show off their immense wealth. I have nothing against those who buy designer wallets – more power to you – but generally, you can easily find wallets that are just as good for a fraction of the price – including the brands you mentioned. Designer wallets are quality, they have to be, but it’s impossible to achieve a quality that is anywhere near worth the price. If you’re looking for a quality wallet then I’d always go handmade.
